We had a break in the weather and headed up to White River for an easy snowshoe. We had hoped for blue sky like the west side of the mountain but ended up with an inversion fog that occasionally opened up for a view of Hood. The inversion also kept the temperature about 20 degrees. There was a nice trail pounded in for us so we did not have to break trail through a couple of feet of powder. Still not enough snow to go wandering off trail yet.
