We headed up to Gorge with uncertain weather to do our Tuesday hike. I decide I wanted to go back to a trail that nobody goes on and even uncertain of the name of it. This is trail does a gradual climb from the Wyeth Campground up to Gorden Creek Trail. This time of year it has a variety of flowers growing by the side of the trail and goes through areas that was burned during the Gorge fire. So it is interesting to see how the forest is recovering from that fire. The trail also passes right under Indian Point and the tall cliffs and talus slopes that make up that feature. We hiked up to a place where the trail had not been brushed out and turn around at the that point. We finished the day with Taco Tuesday at Skamania Lodge while sitting on the patio with a nice view of the Gorge.
