We changed it up for our Wednesday walk and went to Columbia Springs. Having just explored the place I was ready to show Lori and Jeanette around. They were impressed by the place and I was surprised at how much I had missed the first time. The weather was cooler and cloudy on this visit. There was more wildlife this time with ducks and an osprey flying around. Several waterways had been filled. Our outing got extended as they were transferring fish at the hatchery and put on an good show of how the processes works. They were very welcoming and explained why they did it along with the how the process worked. So I ended up spending about 4 hours there. I have lived in Portland and never new this place was just 20 minute from my house.
