Tam-a-lue Trail

Lori and I did a long drive for a short hike to explore a new area on the east side of the Cascades. Also to get out of the rain that was happening in Portland. We went to Cove Palisades State Park and hiked the Tam-a-lue tail (6.5 miles, 600 ft. gain). This is on the shores of Lake Billy Chinook a reservoir created by the Round Butte Dam blocking the Matolios, Crooked River and Deschutes River.
