They reopened the Stegerwald Lake Wildlife Refuge after a 30+ million dollar redo at the first of the month. Lori, Jeanette, Sylvia and I came out on a sunny day to see what they had done. They did do a lot including a major change to the leave system, recontouring the landscape and lot of new plantings. Some part were still pretty muddy but should green up this summer. The Art trail was about the only part that did not change. We will be watching through the years to see how grows back. We did get to see a sun dog. After our walk we went to the Grains of Wrath brewery for beer and food. The good food went fast leaving empty bowls.
