This time we head south of Portland down to Silver Falls State Park to hike the Trail of Ten Falls. This was the first day of summer and the first day to have warm sunny weather in a long time. This is a very popular trail but we only had a moderate number of other hikers to share it with. The trail is noted for how many waterfall you can walk behind.
After the hike Lori, Sylvia and I tried a new place in Silverton for food and drink. The MillTown Pub is not much for looks when you arrive but has a wonderful garden area to dine in. The food was more uptown then the location would lead you to believe. This was the only place we have found doing a half pound hand made paddy for there hamburger so we all had to try it and were happily rewarded. Next time we are down this way we will stop in again to try other menu items.
