I am need of perfecting my car camping before a big trip next month. So I did an exploratory drive to check out some near by County and City camp ground that might work for quick overnight camp outs. Camp site like these are my options until the snow melts in the National Forests and I am able to get out for some disperse camping. I use to stop by Scaponia Park 30 years ago when Jane and I did Sunday dives to Vernonia and always wanted to camp there. So this time out that was to be my spot for the night. I did a little exploring around the camp area and had the to place all to myself. I got an early start back to town the next morning with a list of thirty items I ether need to get or changes that needed to be make. I will try another park on my next outing.
