We got out for a little hike at a new Metro Park called Chehalem Ridge Nature Park. Not the best weather but good enough to enjoy a 9 mile 840 ft gain exploratory hike of the new park. Not a good day for views from the ridge. The trails were wide and graveled and well graded so it was an easy hike. You could appreciate work that had been done to bring this park about and also see the work is still going on. I think the real beauty of the park will be seen in about 5 years on a nice summer day. We finished up our outing a Helvetia Tavern with a beer and food.
