With the forecast calling for rain and snow our group decided to play tourist this time out. We headed up to Mt. Hood to do a version of my Mt. Hood tour route. This keeps the time walking in the rain to a minimum but the sites to see to the max. This time the route include Little Zig Zag Falls, a drive through Government Camp to see where the museum was, a look around Timberline Lodge with drinks and fondue in the Ram’s Head, Little Crater Lake and finally the Clackamas Lake Historic Ranger Station. We went from damp to snow to wet on our route but always dry in the car. So it made for a fun scenic day.
