Fall has arrived with leaves turning color and rain. This time a return to the Oswego Iron Heritage Trail with friends. Lori, Sylvia, Jeanette and I did a shortened version of trail that more appropriated for a social walk and the wet weather. We started at Iron Mt. and this time took the right (a left turn) turn to actually find where a mine entrance once was and the information signs. We returned to our cars drove to downtown Lake Oswego to continue our walk and avoided about six miles of street walking. We roamed the trail to see the where the pipe foundry was, the second furnace, the original town sight and the first furnace before heading to lunch at the Breakside Brewery.
