We had some good weather for a change and did not want to waste it so Jeanette and I went for a short hike up Herman Creek to the waterfall. It was about 5 mile and 500 ft. elevation gain. We found a lot of branches down on the trail and a number of trees across it. Only at one spot did we have a harder time getting pass the logs. Just after the waterfall we started finding more icy snow across the trail so turned around at that point. We went to Thunder Island Brewery after the hike.
