The plan was to hike from Cloud Cap to Elk Cove and back. Although there is a new crossing point for Elliot Creek it still remains a difficult crossing for those not twenty any more. After checking out the crossing point we went to plan B. A hike up the lateral morian of the Elliot Glacier to the Copper Spur hut then down to Tilley Jane and finally back to Cloud Cap. The forest fire smoke was so thick we could not see much.
