We only had part of a day for out Tuesday hike so we did a short but interesting section of the Crown Z Trail. I wanted to show Lori and Jennette what the trail was like and some of the info signs on the trail. We went out of the Ruley Trailhead. It is one of the newest and has some of the best amenities with signs, bathroom, lots of parking and the old Caterpillar Tractor. Lori spotted the old grain and figured it would have been one that her father would have sold to the farmer. We headed west on the trail and got into the trees right away. We went as far as the Kumazawa family sign, just past mile post 11, and at that point headed back. We did about 4.5 miles. After the walk we went to Stormbraker for lunch.
