We had looked at other option for this Tuesday hike and decided to stay close to home and do the Vancouver Waterfront walk. This walk we often do in the winter when it is to wet and cold to head out for the trails. Sylvia had not done this walk before so it was a good to get her familiar with it.
This walk is unique in that area takes you from the oldest settlement to some of the newest redevelopment. There is always something new to see. After the walk we stopped in at Who-Song & Larry’s for lunch. They have a nice deck overlooking the Columbia River where you can see an ocean going crab boat heading up stream, to what, go crabbing on the Columbia River? Cloudy weather but not to cold yet.
