So on a rainy day we set out to do two different hikes. The first was Nellie Corser Wildlife Area and the second was a return to Falls Creek Falls. This time out Lori and I had an old hike and climb buddy Diana along. Nellie Corser was a short exploratory that we had over looked for years. It was in a very lush old growth forest area with Duncan Creek and all of its waterfalls and cascades running through it. It was very impressive. Then, on this gortex day, we headed back to Falls Creek Falls where the creek was running even higher then before.
After the hikes we went to Clark & Lewie’s for beer and grub. This was a new place to go for me. The back deck had a great view of the Columbia and we had wonderful unhealthy food to eat.
