Wild flower season in the Gorge is here. Time to head back to east side trails. Lori and I realized it had been three years since we had been to Catherine Creek so it was a good time go. We did the lollipop loop hike from Catherine Creek over to Coyote Wall up through the Labyrinth and back. Weather turned out better than forecast with a lot more sun but at time some strong wind. I was surprised and sadden to see the poison oak was taking the place over. Still we enjoyed the flowers and the great views. And it was GREEN. In about two months it will turn brown for another year.
