We return to hike the Butte Camp Trail on Mt. St. Helens about the same time as we did it last year. With the dry hot weather the flower blooms happened earlier and it looked like we missed a bumper Bear Grass year. We did not make it all of the way to the Loowit Trail but did get to a nice view point. After this hike we did a second easy walk at that the Trail of Two Forest. I have not been to this place before. It features a number of volcanic tree cast. We finish up with burger and beer at Lori’s.
