A walk in the snow and just out my front door. St. Johns got a foot and half of snow over night. It is amazing how that can change the look of the old neighborhood. So camera in hand I headed. First stop my backyard. Both to see what it looked like but also to find my snow shovel. From there I did my first loop up through downtown and then back home again to get my side-walk shoveled (city ordinance that you must shovel your side-walk). With a path on the walk cleared I head done the river and a loop back through downtown. Fun time seeing place covered in white.

This was a serious snow fall.
Looking back at the wood shed I could see how deep the snow was and that I should have gotten another cord of wood.

The raise vegetable bed were just bumps in the snow.
These will need some shoveling.
We ended up with almost a foot and half of show.
Snow clung to the fence turning it into a wall.
Downtown St. Johns reminded me of Bedford Fall this day.
Stores were closed but folks were out walking around.
Well covered in fresh snow.
Starbucks was open and busy. Many trees and limbs were down.
It was mostly quit in downtown.
No Problem getting outside seating today.
The snow was very clingy. It was loading the trees and causing them to fall.

Cars were cover in snow and no one was going anywhere.
The Fire Dept. was staying busy.
First loop done and back home to shovel the walk.
Lost a few limbs on the Camilla bush.
Shoveled a path on my sidewalk – it is the law to do so.
Out for my second loop through the neighborhood.
No school today.
You have to hand it to the librarians, no mail delivery but the got the library open.
No work today on the new apartment building.
