I got out for a snowshoe on Sunday. I mostly followed one of the standard Mazama snowshoe routes. I started at the Barlow Snowpark on Mt. Hood. I followed the Barlow Butte trail over to the forest service road that wraps around the east side of Barlow Butte. This time I went all the way to the end of the road. There was just enough snow to snowshoe on although at some place it was only a couple of inches. Much of this snow will be gone by next weekend.
