Lori and I got out on the first nice day that we have had for while to explore some new short trails in Hood River. The first one was the Penstock Flume Pipeline trail. This was a very different kind of that goes on the inspection walkway of the Penstock Flume Pipeline. A lot of history to this big pipe and Powerdale Hydroelectric Project and how it ended. The second hike was on the Indian Creek Trail. This hike follows another historic pipe that once brought water to Hood River. After our hike we went to the Riverside at the Best Western to enjoy some lunch and view.
