Lori, Jeanette and I got out for a proper hike for a change. We went out of the Barlow Snow Park to Palmateer Point then on to Upper Twin Lake. The Hike was 9+ miles, 1420 total gain and took about 6 hours. We had lovely forest to walk throw, nice views of Mt. Hood and a beautiful mountain lake to sit and have a snack by. We met several folks doing the PCT and one doing it a kilt. Afterward we went to Smokey Hearth for beer and food.
