So we got out on Sunday and went East to Lookout Mt. I had not been here in about 15 years so it was all new to me. We found some lovely views of Mt. Hood but smoke kept us from seeing the distant peaks. We did a short hike along Divide Trail to Oval Lake. So it was drop down a thousand feet and come back up again. We found some wild flowers still blooming but if the weather remains as hot as it was on Sunday they will be gone soon. We finished up with Burrito and Beer at Solera. GPS had the hike at 7.5 miles and 1700 ft. gain.
