Having been out to Lewis & Clark State Park and Troutdale on Wednesday I want to go back and do some more exploring. I had a weather window of a few hour before a front was to come in and already the wind was strong and cold. When out before I saw Lewis & Clark had a botanical trail so I checked that out. I also was told years ago about a trail that went off to some bolt climb route and I want to see what that was about. I found the climb area was way more then I had imagined. The trail led to a number of high 5 rock route that were bolted. I am sure this area is busy in the summer.
After checking out Lewis and Clark State Park and before the ran, I headed over to Troutdale to see how the town had changed. About 15 years ago I came out to Troutdale often for the budding art scene. So I did a quick walk of the main street to see the changes. Only few shops remained from the old days but new shops and eateries had come in to take their place. So no empty store fronts and some new construction going on.
