I was up visiting family for a couple of days and got one trip out with my cousin to visit Hurricane Ridge in the Olympic National Park. The snow had just melted off of the main meadows so no big flower displays yet but a few small flowers were up to give a hint at what was to come. Snow still covered most of the trails but we did get over to the other side of the ridge to a viewpoint and a look at Hurricane Mt. The wildlife had returned with deer, chipmunks and marmots out and about. Unfortunately, with the pandemic still on the visitor center was closed. We were able to drive down to the picnic area and to the trailhead for Hurricane Mt where I had not gotten to before. We headed out just as the crowds started to arrive.
