Our cold dry weather has been continuing so we took advantage of it headed back up to Mt. Hood Forest. This time we set out to hike around Timothy Lake. A hike I have not done before. The guide book had this hike a 12 mile but when we were done my GPS had it at 14.8. Only 200 ft. gain so a flat hike. The reservoir was down so lots of stumps showing. Cold clear crisp fall weather help to make the hike nice. We started and finished the hike at Little Crater Lake. We took the Timothy Lake Trail on the west side of the trail and PCT on the east side.
