Our Visit to the Gordon House
Lori decided we needed to have a cultural event ever month so the Gordon House designed by Frank Lloyd Wright was our outing for this month. We struggled to get to the house on time for our tour with a monsoon storm going on but we made it with a minute to spare. Having seen several TV specials on Frank Lloyd Wright and his design work the Gordon House did not disappoint. This house was design so a middle class family could afford it. So it worked with common material but in unique ways. It was fun to see the mind of the artist in his creation.
Silver Falls Brewery
After our tour of the Gordon House we stopped in to the Silver Falls Brewery for beer and grub. It was nice but we thought if we got down this way again we would try the other brewpub in Silverton next time.
