Lori, Jeanette and I were off for one of our “interesting” Hikes this time. This was an easy 7.5 mile and 1700 gain hike on the Butte Camp trail up to the Loowit Trail on Mt. St. Helens. We enjoyed nice weather and a surprising variety of wildflowers and fungi. This trail changes often from volcanic to forested to meadow to view points. It makes for a nice day out.
