After all the wonderful feasting with friends and family I thought I should start the New Year out with a workout. I head over to my standard elevation workout trail of Fire Lane 10/Linton Trail in Forest Park. I did the standard of three times up and down for 2200 elevation gain in 2 hours. Now I just have to keep it up the rest of the year.
No one around on New Year morning when I started out.
Start of wildwood off Germantown Road.
Heading down Fire Lane 10 first time.
One of the old mile post from when this was a road.
Sun was just coming up.
From 10 to Linnton on the way down.
Down Linnton trail through the switch backs.
Trail below on the other side of the creek.
This bridge was put in a few years ago by a Mazama Trail Crew.
Crossing over the bridge on the Linnton Trail.
Small water fall.
Turn around point at the bottom. Then back up.
Heading up the trail past the bridge.
